Do you ship worldwide, and how much does it cost? Yes, I offer worldwide shipping. Shipping costs are calculated dynamically based on your location and the size of the artwork, and they will be clearly displayed in your basket before you finalize your purchase. For your complete peace of mind, every single shipment includes full insurance and step-by-step tracking.

How do you package the paintings to keep them safe? The packaging method depends entirely on the size and structure of the artwork to guarantee maximum safety:

  • Small Artworks (up to 50 cm): The painting is first wrapped in a professional, acid-free archival protective paper (glassine) to protect the oil paint surface. It is then heavily cushioned in shock-absorbing bubble wrap and placed into thick, heavy-duty cardboard boxes specifically engineered for art transit.
  • Medium Artworks (50 cm to 100 cm): These are wrapped identically in archival paper and multi-layered bubble wrap. They are shipped securely inside custom-built reinforced cardboard housing or tailored wood-paneled packaging to prevent any flexing during transit.
  • Multi-Canvas / Modular Artworks (e.g., large works made of multiple canvases): These innovative large-scale pieces are highly shipping-friendly. They are shipped fully stretched but dismantled into their individual canvases. Each canvas is safely wrapped individually, and I provide clear, easy-to-follow instructions in the box on how to assemble and hang the complete multi-canvas piece on your wall.
  • Large Single-Canvas Artworks (over 100 cm):
    • Within the Netherlands: I prefer a personal touch. I will personally deliver large single-canvas stretched works to your door to avoid courier risks entirely.
    • International Shipping: To protect massive individual canvases from being punctured or warped on international flights, the canvas is carefully removed from its wooden stretcher bars, wrapped in protective archival layers, and shipped rolled inside a heavy-duty, crush-proof shipping tube. Your local framer can easily re-stretch it onto a frame upon arrival.
