On a bright sunny day, I was walking in a forest nearby, taking a look at the path in front of me. Green leaves everywhere, and a sandy path overflown with sunlight and high contrast shades, providing small patches for pausing the bright light. It’s not an experience for a clean cut observation with a lot of sharp edges to note. Perhaps you shouldn’t even try to. There is some kind of feeling of moving forward through a nicely orchestrated chaotic dreamworld in which bizarrely different forms of life are all at the right spot. Individual leaves reflecting and absorbing light, connecting branches, tree trunks and roots, connecting to fungi, connecting again to neighboring roots, feeding insects, and so on. It does something with your state of being; all flowy and peaceful. Probably I was also at the right spot. This painting is one interpretation of many possible ones. And, tomorrow the path has moved on.
