An oil painting of a caravan situated in an industrial complex, painted from observation with a complementary color palette of mainly blue and orange. Many of the elements and details are left abstract and can be explored by the viewer’s imagination.
This painting is part of a series of works where I explore the old factory in which my studio is located. The main subject for this work is a caravan that is not actually in use anymore for its original purpose. Yet it is still an eye-catcher, especially because of the way it reflects the light. Other objects include a wheelbarrow and an old schoolbus in the background.
