Ordinary things, such as trees, how ordinary are they? Their movements are too slow to detect in real-time, and their communication; we just look right over it. Communication between plants appears a bit of a mysterious one perhaps. Young corn sprouts have been shown to emit low sounds of around 100 Hz with their roots. Surprisingly, when exposed to the same frequencies, their roots grew towards it. Speculate on the reasons for that. Roots of trees in a forest are connected via fungi, through which they exchange all kinds of substances. Literally supporting each other, as if they are one big, huge organism. So, when you’re walking through a forest surrounded by all kinds of plants and trees, you might wonder… What are they talking about right now?
