Some trees keep drawing in your attention. This particular tree I have painted before in a smaller work in 2024 (you can find it here). There is something about the posture of the tree, as if it is in motion. It has an effect on you. In fact, I was planning to take a more or less naturalistic approach to this painting. But the tree evoked expression and boldness, so the gestures of my brush became more wild, and then the colors followed as well.
